I build signs that use small aluminum extrusions about 1" x 1.5" in size. I cut and miter with these blades. This blade works well. It is a fine tooth so cutting rate is a bit slower but this seems better with thin walled aluminum extrusions, you don't want it catching as this can get dangerous. I haven't lost any teeth on the blade yet but I tend to cut slow. Use the clamps that go with the miter saw!I used to use Diablo branded blades but they are much more expensive. They might cut better initially (maybe they come a bit sharper and their tooth geometry is better optimized) but the Concord blades cut almost as well without wax. With wax it is better. Didn't know about using cutting wax when using the Diablo blades so I can't compare their lifetime but after using cutting wax I haven't changed my last Concord blade for 200+ cuts.For the cleanest cutting results use a cutting wax like "BruteLube 16-Ounce Cutting Tool Wax On A Stick". This stuff lasts quite a while since you just need to go the depth of the cutting teeth. Just cut into the side of the stick every few cuts or when your cuts have too much burr. As I am doing (very) low production work, I also use blade stabilizers as I found my miter cuts would cause the blade to bend slightly for a non perpendicular cut but this cut also be due to the blade getting dull or not having wax at the time. Wax makes this blade last much longer. For the best cuts, I cut within a sliver of where I need to be then re-cut. This ensures that the cut is perpendicular and that I have a cleaner cut especially if I want to get my miters as close as possible.
