I cannot believe where this has been for all these years that I have gone through the ridiculous beef and chicken flavored toothpaste that dogs cannot stand and neither can I! I suspect that the reason that dogs fight getting their teeth brushed is because people are coming after them with beef and chicken flavored toothpaste! Would you brush your own teeth with salad flavored toothpaste or shrimp flavored toothpaste or whatever it is that you eat? ?This one not only has a very appealing smell to it but the texture is just slightly gritty enough to be effective. My dog does not fight me over it so it obviously tastes good to her. I tasted it myself and it is fully palatable and pleasant.I have never understood the concept of beef and chicken flavored toothpaste and think it's ridiculous. I also don't like the strange ingredients that are included with those brands. This one is just clean and fresh and all natural.It's obviously costs a bit more for the container but the fact of the matter is that it goes much further than tubes. It has a very gentle abrasive factor to it so it cleans the teeth very well and the taste and smell are obviously quite palatable to my dog so it makes it easy to use.
