Purchased these for my husband who grinds his teeth at night. The The ConfiDental - Pack of 6 Moldable Mouth Guard for Teeth Grinding is a much better financial alternative to the $$$ the dentist would have charged for just one mold.That being said, the mold was very easy to form; husband got it perfect first time. According to him, you don't need both top and bottom molds - just one will keep you from grinding your teeth in your sleep. His biggest concern was, would he be able to sleep with the mold in? And yes, he can and quite easily. He can also easily talk while wearing it, though I can tell when he is because his speech is a little bit off. He finds them to be thick enough that he has no trouble with grinding his teeth anymore, yet thin enough so as not to be uncomfortable at all. The package comes with easy to follow directions, 6 mouth guards and a case to keep it in. They fit him perfectly but if you find they go a little too far back in your mouth they can be trimmed (equally) on either end before boiling for a more customized fit.I really feel that this is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. Price-wise they are inexpensive especially for a set of 6 and *really* inexpensive as opposed to having a dentist make just one mold. So far the mold seems to be quite durable - he's been wearing the same one for over 2 months now with no signs yet of it wearing down! And if/when he does, he can make 5 more before I'll have to re-order. Very, very happy with this purchase!
