Though toothpaste tubes are convenient and easy, the toothpaste tabs are also easy and efficient. Both have the same ingredients. Both clean your teeth nearly equally as well. The taste of the tabs is not as minty fresh as the toothpaste. But the reason we switched to tabs is to reduce our plastic waste. And really that is the only reason. Using the tabs for our daily routines of brushing our teeth have not changed our lives much other than the good feeling of not using as much plastic.Lately i'm obsessed with toothpaste tablets. I got a bottle of the Fresc brand and needed more but they're not on Amazon. SO easy to use. Just chew it up, wet your toothbrush and get to it. There's no more toothpaste mess, these foam up just like toothpaste and my teeth and mouth feel super fresh after!!I absolutely cannot stand the texture of toothpaste - to me it’s like nails on a chalkboard, so I had to start using baking soda and peroxide until I discovered these. No yucky paste stuck on the outside of the tube!I purchased these to cut down on the amount of liquids in my carry on. They worked perfect - I liked the taste and they lather up like typical toothpaste. Will use again.I guess i am just used to tube toothpaste. These tablets do not foam, it can be difficult to determine if the tablet was completely distributed on all teeth, since it doesn't foam.I got these so I didn’t have to count my toothpaste as a liquid in my carry on! It was pretty perfect taste like toothpaste and cleans like toothpaste!!Arrived dented. Otherwise smells good and the package is perfect for traveling. Will update when I’ve used oneGood flavor and great for travel. Is it toothpaste, no. But it’s not bad. I’m trying to decrease my liquids when I travel so this is great!
