The small hack saw was a gift and he seems happy with it.A+Though I do appreciate the size, I’m not too satisfied with the sharpness. I purchased the hacksaw to cut bamboo sticks that I use for my houseplants, and although it essentially does the job, it’s doesn’t really glide as I imagined that it would.Didn’t return, but will not be repurchasing. This little saw is really tough. I used it to cut off a couple of severely rusted bolts on the exhaust system of a car. They were in a tight spot, inaccessible to power tools or a full sized hacksaw. It took a long time to cut through the thick bolts, but this little saw did the job without breaking, and the blade is still in decent shape. The frame is OK although it is difficult to change the blade. And you will need to change the blade. The blade supplied is useless----it was totally blunt after cutting just one stainless steel 1/4" bolt.Luckily I had some blades from UK --I put one of those in and it cut the remaining 5 bolts and was still sharp at the end.We bought it to cut the chew bones we give to our dog. It works good for that purpose but could be better.A mini hacksaw that actually works. Great price and made in the USA.This is the best small hacksaw I've found. The shape is great for use in tight spaces, such as in holes with cutting PVC, working under your house, working on a sprinkler, cutting the heads off of nails/screws when they are stripped/stuck. The uses are endless. After finding one of these in a small hardware store while out of town, I went on Amazon and ordered a few to give as presents to friends. It's a handy tool that, once you have one, you won't want to be without. The blade of this saw does not seem to cut anything. I tried different materials to cut and it is having a hard time cutting anything at all. Very cheap saw indeed.Blade is Fragile, bent in halfBroke already only used 5-10 times and part that holds the blade snapped.
