We bought the full setup of this product (with the hose and connector) when we moved into our house five years ago so we could use the large utility sink as a dog wash station. It's worked great and after 5 years of heavy use, the head developed a small leak, so we purchased this as a replacement. The replacement was simple and fast, and now we have a brand new setup again with no leaking. It works perfect with the ability to turn the water off an on with the switch on the side, is easy to hold onto, and doesn't freak the dog out like a regular high-intensity sprayer would do. Cleaning is easy - I only need to wipe it down once a year of so because the design doesn't promote sitting water, so it air dries nicely after use. With the amount of use this gets in our household, it is very durable - everything has held up nicely. I've found the cost to be well worth it for the amount of heavy use I've gotten out if it and highly recommend it to make washing your dog a low-stress, easy job.
