A real time saver. This saw is a work horse,... the special engineering of the blade is the real deal. This hand saw doesn't mess around,... digs right in and cuts thru wood quickly & smoothly with LESS effort. The advanced engineered & multiple angles of the cutting teeth really cut thru wood. The thinner type blade reduces friction & sticking. And the real change is the power stroke. With most hand saws the power cutting stroke is pushing,...but here the power stroke is pulling. Initially awkward, pulling is easier to control, requires less energy, bores into the wood much better. But I had to unlearn the push technique most all saws require. Pushing will bend /break the saw blade when it binds in the cut. But reminding my brain to go easy on the push and big on the Pull,... I caught on after a few uses & never looked back!PERFORMANCE: Second to none. I'm amazed. I've got many hand saws & would choose this 'pull' saw over all my 'push' type saws in a heartbeat. Solves tough cutting issues like taking out 2 inch twisty 'floating' type limbs, even very large vines not NOT firmly anchored ,...stuff that tends to twist around when sawing. Without fail, these high-tec teeth power thru while the flexible blade minimizes binding. Nice.Cost was 26$ incl free ship. Replacement blades are available but will be a while until I need those.BOTT LINE: I bot it to do the tough cuts. It delivers! The fine tooth is perfect for smaller diameter & harder wood where coarse teeth would tend to hop & not dig in. Using the pull technique, the smart /advanced engineered blade really digs in yet allows a full pull cutting stroke without binding. Nice. The heavy duty folding /metal had beefy latching system for setting the blade at optimum cutting angles,... great for adjusting to hard /softer woods.Easily EARNS 5-STARS!
