My kids both liked this tooth brush and it did get them to brush but my daughter age 4 might have been too rough on it. The silicone part where the metal piece goes in is now too big for the metal piece so she has to slow down and hold it in to use it. Overall it works great but the replaceable brush is probably just too old for my daughter. My son age 6 still has his and it fits on the metal piece but hes not as crazy with the back and forth...UPDATE: We heard back from the company. This seems to be a rare instance, where the base was getting too wet. They were very responsive and handled it promptly. Appreciate the assistance.—————————We have had the product for two weeks. If my son had not noticed a weird smell coming out of the bathroom we would have not found this. The item was hot to touch and burning underneath. I am glad we found it in time. Could have become a more serious situation, especially if we had stepped out for the day.My daughter loves this product. I got it because brushing her teeth was always a hassle in the morning because she is sensitive to textured when she wants to be. So having a little pink penguin brush was really like play time for her. The only thing is that I could not figure out how it disinfected while being in the plastic container. But in all 9/10!!My daughter loved this because it was easy to use and cute, but we ended up throwing it away because it didn't get her teeth clean. The silicone just rubbed her teeth and gums, it didn't get any grime off of her teeth.It makes my day much easier. I always have hard time when it comes to brushing my kids tooth. I started using without vibrating because my kid don’t like anything that makes loud noise. It works well even without turning it on. After few times of use we started using it fully with vibration. Great thing is that she puts it to her mouth without me asking.And thanks for big help.It looks cute like a toy. But works like a pro.About the battery. It is good enough for a week of use or moreMy toddler loves brushing with this on days when he won't let us use a regular toothbrush. The charging cable that came with it has a pin that is too long for the charging base; we have to brace the pin so the brush charges and it's really difficult to keep it in long enough to get a full charge.Good product comes with everything you needMy granddaughter wants to brush her teeth all the time.
