This is my first water flosser so the only comparisons I have are to the research I've done. My dentist has been pushing the table-top name brand, but price and the space it takes up have swayed me away from that. I really like that this is much smaller, but that comes with it's own cons as well. For one, it's difficult to to the back of your teeth because if you invert the water flosser too much it can't pick up water from the tank, so you need to lean over and dip your head. This works well for the back of the top teeth but I still struggle to hit the bottom of my back teeth correctly. Second, while you're manupulating the angle of the flosser it's easy to move your thumb from the on/off button, and DON'T DO THAT unless you want to spray water all over your bathroom walls, mirror, shower, toilet, into the next room, all over your clothes, etc, etc, etc! Really my only other complaint is the language translation into english, the box this comes in calls it a "Tooth Punch" and the instructions aren't the best. That being said, I've been using this for 12 days so far on a single charge, it's very easy to fill the tank (one tank is enough to clean one side of your teeth) and I love that its small enough to tuck away in my bathroom closet. For the price I think it's a great deal.
